1
00:00:58,207 --> 00:01:02,041

2
00:01:42,927 --> 00:01:45,600

3
00:01:45,687 --> 00:01:48,042

4
00:01:48,127 --> 00:01:51,563

5
00:01:51,647 --> 00:01:54,798

6
00:01:54,887 --> 00:01:57,845

7
00:01:57,927 --> 00:02:00,487

8
00:02:00,567 --> 00:02:04,037

9
00:02:04,647 --> 00:02:07,923

10
00:02:08,567 --> 00:02:11,320

11
00:02:13,047 --> 00:02:14,765

12
00:02:19,047 --> 00:02:23,518

13
00:02:26,887 --> 00:02:29,003

14
00:02:29,087 --> 00:02:32,397

15
00:02:34,607 --> 00:02:36,643

16
00:02:36,727 --> 00:02:39,446

17
00:02:39,527 --> 00:02:42,041

18
00:02:42,847 --> 00:02:46,806

19
00:02:46,887 --> 00:02:49,117

20
00:02:49,207 --> 00:02:50,356

21
00:02:50,447 --> 00:02:54,599
Light a fire, muck about, ты знаешь.

22
00:02:58,087 --> 00:03:00,601

23
00:03:00,687 --> 00:03:03,838

24
00:03:03,927 --> 00:03:07,044

25
00:03:07,127 --> 00:03:09,846

26
00:03:10,847 --> 00:03:13,281

27
00:03:13,367 --> 00:03:15,597

28
00:03:15,687 --> 00:03:17,439

29
00:03:18,847 --> 00:03:21,156

30
00:03:22,767 --> 00:03:24,439

31
00:03:40,447 --> 00:03:41,880

32
00:03:48,087 --> 00:03:49,236

33
00:03:50,567 --> 00:03:52,444
No sport for you here.

34
00:04:03,607 --> 00:04:05,120

35
00:04:06,847 --> 00:04:09,805

36
00:04:09,887 --> 00:04:13,675

37
00:04:25,887 --> 00:04:27,764

38
00:04:29,807 --> 00:04:32,958

39
00:04:33,047 --> 00:04:35,561

40
00:04:35,647 --> 00:04:40,004

41
00:04:40,087 --> 00:04:41,679

42
00:04:43,207 --> 00:04:44,435

43
00:04:48,607 --> 00:04:50,245

44
00:04:50,327 --> 00:04:52,682

45
00:04:52,767 --> 00:04:54,041
I've beat him, Sarge!

46
00:04:54,127 --> 00:04:58,564
Let's pretend, eh?

47
00:04:58,647 --> 00:05:01,115

48
00:05:01,207 --> 00:05:04,517

49
00:05:04,607 --> 00:05:05,926

50
00:05:07,207 --> 00:05:08,879

51
00:05:08,967 --> 00:05:11,765

52
00:05:11,847 --> 00:05:13,724

53
00:05:13,807 --> 00:05:16,321

54
00:05:16,407 --> 00:05:18,682

55
00:05:18,767 --> 00:05:22,601

56
00:05:24,047 --> 00:05:25,526

57
00:05:26,407 --> 00:05:27,556
Что?

58
00:05:28,327 --> 00:05:29,726

59
00:05:29,807 --> 00:05:34,278

60
00:05:34,367 --> 00:05:37,040

61
00:05:37,127 --> 00:05:40,039

62
00:05:40,127 --> 00:05:44,359

63
00:05:44,447 --> 00:05:47,007
you around, сынок, а?

64
00:05:47,087 --> 00:05:49,282

65
00:05:49,367 --> 00:05:51,801

66
00:05:51,887 --> 00:05:54,481

67
00:05:55,247 --> 00:05:58,364

68
00:05:59,767 --> 00:06:04,283

69
00:06:04,367 --> 00:06:07,677

70
00:06:07,767 --> 00:06:11,601
and I'll give it a go.

71
00:06:12,167 --> 00:06:14,601

72
00:06:14,687 --> 00:06:18,726

73
00:06:18,807 --> 00:06:22,083
It was the only place you could get
out of the house and out of the weather.

74
00:06:22,167 --> 00:06:25,921
PATERSON: No, it's self-defence
every Sunday afternoon now.

75
00:06:27,527 --> 00:06:31,361
Don't know what happened to the waste...
Don't I know you from somewhere?

76
00:06:31,447 --> 00:06:32,516
I don't think so.

77
00:06:32,607 --> 00:06:37,237
Oh, that's right.
The police let you off with a warning, didn't they?

78
00:06:37,327 --> 00:06:41,559
-You were lucky.
-Listen, I'm just looking for my friends, okay?

79
00:06:41,647 --> 00:06:45,003
PATERSON: I don't think
you'll have much luck, then.

80
00:06:50,207 --> 00:06:51,322
Ah.

81
00:06:52,207 --> 00:06:56,041
-You'll find most of your crowd have moved on.
-Moved on to where?

82
00:06:56,127 --> 00:06:59,119
Well, I think you'd have a better idea of that
than me, luv, eh?

83
00:06:59,207 --> 00:07:01,880
-Where have you been hiding yourself?
-Around.

84
00:07:01,967 --> 00:07:06,483
Your mum had you listed as a missing person.
You don't give a toss, do you?

85
00:07:06,567 --> 00:07:11,641
I don't know, four kids gone missing
just this month. Vanished into thin air.

86
00:07:11,727 --> 00:07:13,877
It's the parents I feel sorry for.

87
00:07:13,967 --> 00:07:16,800
Doesn't cost much to phone, luv.
1 0 pence, that's all.

88
00:07:16,887 --> 00:07:18,525
Come on, Doctor.

89
00:07:22,127 --> 00:07:24,641
I wouldn't be that age again if you paid me,
would you?

90
00:07:24,727 --> 00:07:27,480
I can't remember, it's too long ago.

91
00:07:27,567 --> 00:07:30,400
What a world to be young again in, eh?

92
00:07:30,487 --> 00:07:33,559
I reckon the only thing you can do
is to teach 'em to fight,

93
00:07:33,647 --> 00:07:36,002
that way they'll fight or go under.

94
00:07:36,087 --> 00:07:40,285
Half of them go under anyway round here.
Can't save 'em. Wasters.

95
00:07:40,367 --> 00:07:43,120
Tell me, Sergeant,
do you have a problem with strays?

96
00:07:43,207 --> 00:07:44,686
-Stray what?
-Cats.

97
00:07:44,767 --> 00:07:47,076
I wouldn't know. It's hardly a priority around here.

98
00:07:47,167 --> 00:07:49,965
-Come on, Doctor!
-Doctor, eh?

99
00:07:50,047 --> 00:07:52,515
You're not in the best of shape
yourself, though, are you?

100
00:07:52,607 --> 00:07:54,040
You wanna build yourself up.

101
00:07:54,127 --> 00:07:56,846
I give a class down here
Monday nights for the older men.

102
00:07:56,927 --> 00:07:58,519
I've gotta see a man about a cat.

103
00:07:58,607 --> 00:08:01,758
Remember, keep fit and self-defence.

104
00:08:02,687 --> 00:08:05,155
One finger can be a deadly weapon.

105
00:08:08,927 --> 00:08:11,805
Still looks the same. Dead.

106
00:08:11,887 --> 00:08:15,004
We were the only life there ever was around here.

107
00:08:16,847 --> 00:08:21,398
I should have tried in here first, right?
I wasn't thinking. Back in a sec.

108
00:08:28,487 --> 00:08:31,604
MAN: Take this Sunday, you think I wanna do it?

109
00:08:31,687 --> 00:08:34,884
Do you think I wanna do it?
Do you think I wanna give up my one day of rest

110
00:08:34,967 --> 00:08:37,162
to come in here and stand behind a cash register?

111
00:08:37,247 --> 00:08:39,966
Standing behind a till all day can do your back in.

112
00:08:40,047 --> 00:08:42,277
I saw something about that
on the news the other night.

113
00:08:42,367 --> 00:08:46,201
-Yeah, law of the jungle, though, right?
-Yeah, survival of the fittest, mate.

114
00:08:46,287 --> 00:08:48,198
I mean, all these other shops are open,
aren't they?

115
00:08:48,287 --> 00:08:50,437
Where do you think we'd be if we didn't join in?

116
00:08:50,527 --> 00:08:54,315
Down the plughole.
Down the plughole without a paddle, mate.

117
00:08:55,487 --> 00:08:57,000
Can I help you?

118
00:08:57,087 --> 00:09:00,762
-Yes. Which one do you think they'd prefer?
-What?

119
00:09:00,847 --> 00:09:01,882
Of these brands,

120
00:09:01,967 --> 00:09:06,643
which one do you think our feline friends
will find particularly irresistible?

121
00:09:06,727 --> 00:09:12,279
Well, if you believe the advertisers,
this is the one preferred by your cat connoisseur.

122
00:09:12,367 --> 00:09:16,326
And that one has a taste all cat owners,
who really care, put in the dish.

123
00:09:16,407 --> 00:09:20,605
Whereas these ones have the smell
that drives a tabby cat wild.

124
00:09:20,727 --> 00:09:23,560
No, no, no. That's an aftershave ad.

125
00:09:23,647 --> 00:09:26,036
-Is it?
-Or is it for cars?

126
00:09:26,127 --> 00:09:31,201
-All I know is my Tiger prefers cheese.
-Cheese! Ah, yes.

127
00:09:31,607 --> 00:09:34,644
-It's the law of the jungle now, mate, innit?
-Mmm.

128
00:09:34,727 --> 00:09:38,481
There are these two blokes, right?
In a tent, in the jungle.

129
00:09:38,567 --> 00:09:41,479
You got another one for me, ain't you?
Go on then, go on.

130
00:09:41,567 --> 00:09:45,845
It's really dark, and they hear
this terrible noise outside the tent.

131
00:09:45,927 --> 00:09:48,361
This terrible roaring noise.

132
00:09:48,447 --> 00:09:50,961
And one bloke turns to the other bloke
and he says, ''Did you hear that?''

133
00:09:51,047 --> 00:09:53,242
-What?
-I said, ''Did you hear that?''

134
00:09:53,327 --> 00:09:55,283
-Oh, right, yeah.
-''That was a lion.''

135
00:09:55,367 --> 00:10:00,316
And the other bloke, he doesn't say anything.
He just starts putting on his running shoes.

136
00:10:00,407 --> 00:10:06,004
The other bloke turns to him and says,
''What are you doing? You can't outrun a lion.''

137
00:10:06,087 --> 00:10:10,399
The bloke turns to him, he says,
''I don't have to outrun the lion...''

138
00:10:12,927 --> 00:10:14,076
Don't get it.

139
00:10:14,167 --> 00:10:17,284
He doesn't have to outrun the lion, only his friend.

140
00:10:17,367 --> 00:10:20,677
Then the lion catches up
with his friend and eats him.

141
00:10:20,767 --> 00:10:25,045
The strong survive, the weak are killed.
The law of the jungle.

142
00:10:25,127 --> 00:10:27,641
-Oh, yeah. Very clever.
-Yes, very clever,

143
00:10:27,727 --> 00:10:30,446
if you don't mind losing your friend.

144
00:10:30,527 --> 00:10:34,805
-But what happens when the next lion turns up?
-What next lion?

145
00:10:38,407 --> 00:10:40,523
I think you'd better get
your running shoes on, gentlemen.

146
00:10:43,567 --> 00:10:47,879
-Did you find your friends, then?
-No one even remembers them.

147
00:10:47,967 --> 00:10:49,639
I'm sure I've forgotten something.

148
00:10:49,727 --> 00:10:52,082
-Oi, haven't you forgotten something?
-Yes.

149
00:10:52,167 --> 00:10:55,842
-Money.
-No, it wasn't that.

150
00:10:56,127 --> 00:10:58,322
-I got lucky on the fruit machine.
-Lucky?

151
00:10:58,407 --> 00:11:00,557
Well, they're all fixed anyway, those machines.

152
00:11:00,647 --> 00:11:04,242
Tiger? Psst. Here, boy. Tiger?

153
00:11:04,327 --> 00:11:06,079
Psst, psst, psst.

154
00:11:07,727 --> 00:11:10,400
-Len.
-What is it?

155
00:11:11,327 --> 00:11:13,158
Something's eaten Tiger.

156
00:11:14,847 --> 00:11:18,123
-ACE: Ange!
-Oh, hi, Ace.

157
00:11:18,207 --> 00:11:20,004
-I thought you were dead.
-What?

158
00:11:20,087 --> 00:11:24,603
That's what they said, either you were dead
or you'd gone to Birmingham.

159
00:11:24,687 --> 00:11:25,802
Who's he?

160
00:11:25,887 --> 00:11:27,479
-Oh, a friend of mine.
-Oh.

161
00:11:27,567 --> 00:11:30,035
-So you back to see your family?
-No.

162
00:11:30,127 --> 00:11:32,516
So, what are you doing here?
You're well out of this dump.

163
00:11:32,607 --> 00:11:35,519
-Just wanted to see my friends, catch up a bit.
-Oh.

164
00:11:35,607 --> 00:11:37,916
-So, where is everyone?
-Who?

165
00:11:38,007 --> 00:11:41,124
-Jay?
-Don't know. Moved over west someplace.

166
00:11:41,207 --> 00:11:43,562
Think he's doing window cleaning,
that's what I've heard.

167
00:11:43,647 --> 00:11:45,797
-Stevie?
-Oh, he's gone.

168
00:11:45,887 --> 00:11:47,843
Where are they all coming from?

169
00:11:47,927 --> 00:11:50,157
-Flo?
-Married Darth.

170
00:11:50,247 --> 00:11:54,286
-Darth Vader, the brain-dead plumber? Flo?
-Yeah. Makes you think, eh?

171
00:11:54,367 --> 00:11:56,323
-What about Shreela?
-Oh, she's gone.

172
00:11:56,407 --> 00:11:58,238
-Midge?
-He's gone, too.

173
00:11:58,327 --> 00:12:01,637
-Gone? What do you mean, gone?
-I don't know. Gone. Vanished.

174
00:12:01,727 --> 00:12:04,799
-People don't just vanish.
-You did.

175
00:12:04,887 --> 00:12:06,764
-Yeah, well, that's different.
-Is it?

176
00:12:06,847 --> 00:12:09,600
Yeah. So, when did they go?

177
00:12:09,687 --> 00:12:12,360
-Don't know. Last month?
-What?

178
00:12:12,447 --> 00:12:14,836
Well, Midge and Stevie went last month.

179
00:12:14,927 --> 00:12:18,283
Shreela went last week,
they had to scrape her mum off the ceiling.

180
00:12:18,367 --> 00:12:21,245
Funny though, I always thought
she got on well with her family.

181
00:12:21,327 --> 00:12:23,761
-This doesn't make sense.
-That's what I said.

182
00:12:23,847 --> 00:12:25,439
-Know what I reckon?
-What?

183
00:12:25,527 --> 00:12:30,123
UFOs. They whisk them off and do experiments
on them like we do on animals.

184
00:12:30,207 --> 00:12:34,325
Wouldn't fancy cutting Stevie open
to see what's inside, would you?

185
00:12:34,407 --> 00:12:37,001
Come on, give us 1 0 pence, then.

186
00:12:42,687 --> 00:12:44,439
Not a very efficient way to hunt, is it?

187
00:12:44,527 --> 00:12:47,883
All that noise and pantomime
just to slaughter one little animal.

188
00:12:47,967 --> 00:12:51,004
No, if you're gonna hunt, you stalk your prey.

189
00:12:51,087 --> 00:12:55,319
You observe it so you can take it by surprise,
and then you don't kill too many.

190
00:12:55,407 --> 00:12:58,843
Cover your tracks, so you don't leave a smell.

191
00:13:00,207 --> 00:13:03,199
-Can you smell that?
-Can't. Hay fever.

192
00:13:03,287 --> 00:13:06,279
What are you talking about, Professor?
Is something going on here?

193
00:13:06,367 --> 00:13:09,643
-I'm not sure.
-Is he...?

194
00:13:09,727 --> 00:13:11,160
Professor.

195
00:13:12,207 --> 00:13:16,359
When is a cat not a cat?
When it builds its own cat flap.

196
00:13:19,567 --> 00:13:22,525
-Bait, Ace, bait.
-Hang on, Professor!

197
00:13:26,207 --> 00:13:28,767
Show me. Show me.

198
00:13:45,727 --> 00:13:47,683
Yes, he'll do very well.

199
00:14:13,047 --> 00:14:17,279
I can't believe he said that, you know.
That TA twit.

200
00:14:18,767 --> 00:14:22,157
I reckon that was well out of order. 1 0 pence.

201
00:14:23,007 --> 00:14:25,726
I mean, even if I could've phoned,
which I couldn't really,

202
00:14:25,807 --> 00:14:27,763
do you think anyone would've listened to me?

203
00:14:27,847 --> 00:14:29,917
Tin opener.

204
00:14:30,007 --> 00:14:33,158
It was just that time. Just the whole crowd.

205
00:14:34,967 --> 00:14:36,958
We had a really good laugh.

206
00:14:37,047 --> 00:14:41,325
I can't believe everyone
just disappeared. Professor?

207
00:14:41,407 --> 00:14:42,760
Tin opener.

208
00:14:48,167 --> 00:14:50,317
-Professor?
-Mmm.

209
00:14:50,407 --> 00:14:55,527
-Are you listening to me?
-Quiet, Ace, I'm concentrating.

210
00:15:22,367 --> 00:15:24,403
No, you're not the one I'm after.

211
00:15:27,727 --> 00:15:29,445
Shh! Quiet!

212
00:15:32,247 --> 00:15:33,396
Shoo.

213
00:17:09,207 --> 00:17:13,519
Go on, go away. Go on, shoo! Dog, go away!

214
00:17:14,087 --> 00:17:15,918
-ACE: Doctor!
-Ace.

215
00:17:24,567 --> 00:17:25,761
Doctor!

216
00:18:07,687 --> 00:18:12,886
So, they've taken you away,
taken you to their planet, but I'll find you.

217
00:19:04,807 --> 00:19:06,638
-Got you.
-Got you!

218
00:19:06,727 --> 00:19:09,366
-Now, what do you think you're up to?
-Sergeant!

219
00:19:09,447 --> 00:19:11,403
-I've had complaints.
-What's it got to do with you?

220
00:19:11,487 --> 00:19:12,761
Neighbourhood watch!

221
00:19:12,847 --> 00:19:15,884
-I've no time for that, I've gotta catch that cat!
-You're a public nuisance.

222
00:19:15,967 --> 00:19:17,764
-Will you leave me go?
-Now, don't be stupid, eh?

223
00:19:17,847 --> 00:19:19,917
Don't get yourself into real trouble!

224
00:19:22,367 --> 00:19:24,835
One finger can be a deadly weapon.

225
00:19:52,007 --> 00:19:54,396
MAN: Go away! Get away from here!

226
00:19:56,247 --> 00:19:57,726
Get away from here!

227
00:20:39,847 --> 00:20:41,200
WOMAN: Ace.

228
00:20:42,447 --> 00:20:44,677
-Shreela!
-Ace.

229
00:20:44,767 --> 00:20:48,442
You shouldn't have run,
they always go for you if you run.

230
00:20:53,127 --> 00:20:57,120
Why don't you come out
and we'll talk about this sensibly, hmm?

231
00:20:59,807 --> 00:21:01,320
Hey, come back!

232
00:21:03,447 --> 00:21:05,005
Come back here!

233
00:21:12,767 --> 00:21:15,600
-Midge!
-Hi, Ace. Long time.

234
00:21:16,367 --> 00:21:18,198
-Is Stevie here, too?
-He was.

235
00:21:18,287 --> 00:21:21,677
-Stevie? He's cat food, isn't he?
-SHREELA: Stop it.

236
00:21:21,767 --> 00:21:26,602
This is Derek. He's doing very well.
He's been here three weeks.

237
00:21:26,687 --> 00:21:29,645
-Only got flesh wounds.
-We'll have to move on soon.

238
00:21:29,727 --> 00:21:34,118
-They hunt at night sometimes.
-They can see in the dark.

239
00:21:36,087 --> 00:21:39,079
You can't see them, just their eyes.

240
00:21:40,727 --> 00:21:44,402
Just as well I'm here.
You need some sorting out, you lot.

241
00:22:06,727 --> 00:22:08,558
-Got you!
-Get off!

242
00:22:13,447 --> 00:22:14,482
You stupid...

243
00:22:17,247 --> 00:22:20,603
-Where the hell are we?
-Shut up, and we may survive.

244
00:22:28,967 --> 00:22:30,195
Huh!

245
00:22:59,247 --> 00:23:00,680
Why, Doctor,

246
00:23:03,007 --> 00:23:05,202
what an unexpected pleasure.
